...because we and everything are vibrations and frequencies, not Einsteinian particles; moreover children know this. They 'live' and 'be' this way, without the vocabulary and education to explain how.

As a child, did you feel deep in your heart that

• singing, dancing, rhythmical activities

• laughter, play, climbing trees, splashing in muddy puddles (in your socks)

• nature, sunshine, rain, wind, snow

• dreams, daring, learning by mistakes

• trust, forgiveness, the strength of vulnerability

• gratitude, humility, abundance, contentment

• and love especially, including for yourself

are how we have the best relationships with

• friends, family, strangers

• yourself and your soul

• life

• and whatever else exists?

our hearts, manifesting

As children we lacked most of the vocabulary above.

But the feelings in our hearts manifested in our practical ways of living and ‘being’.

As children, like our ancient hunter-gatherer ancestors, there was no real difference between work and play. Being human and loving living were realities, so that money was irrelevant, whereas...

adulthood brings increasing realisations that all the money in the world is of no use if you become ill and unable to heal; typically medicated unnaturally, addicted to, and dependent on, a system designed to feed the banks, not our souls.

we are older but not wiser

As adults we have vocabulary and knowledge to consider a vast range of existential matters, for example

• vibrations, frequencies

• nirvana, bodhisattva

• cosmos, cosmology

• quantum, entanglement theory

• ether (historically aether)

• transcendence, ascension, reincarnation

• heaven, hell, purgatory

• consciousness, Akashic Record

• angels, life force, universal energies

• etc.,

but as children we tended naturally and simply to ‘be one’ with these energies.

There was no need to explain being authentically human. We simply were.

Human being. Being human.

experience compared with education

As children we live and be in ways that become distant or forgotten to us after years of adulthood, and supposed ‘education’.

We might go to university, and ‘learn’ about philosophy and neuroscience, or psychology and creativity, or nutrition and finance, but until we ‘live’ human experiences, we simply cannot know them, nor begin to understand them.

A man can never know nor understand conceiving, carrying and giving birth to a baby.

Especially if he becomes a gynaecologist.

‘Especially’ because:

The word ‘midwife’ is from Old English meaning ‘with woman’ which meant originally a woman who is with another woman helping her to give birth.

The term ‘male midwife’ is a very recent dangerous distortion of nature, and of millennia of human evolution.

Living Magically

This is from the Afterword of Gill Edwards’ best-selling 2007 book ‘Life Is A Gift’. Gill Edwards was author of many international top-selling books, shaman, energy-healer, lecturer and more.
