Magic
57 seconds of pure magic: the sun and clouds, a gift from my house, that turned itself into a pinhole camera.
On 16th May 2023 some very beautiful magic happened in my house, which as you can see is a rebuilding project, rather like my own soul, and perhaps each of our own souls.
I noticed a strange bright light on the floor, and realised that it was the Sun, partially obscured by passing clouds, being projected through a ‘pinhole camera’, which my house had made of itself, for a few fleeting minutes.
The 1933 Oxford English Dictionary explains that the word ‘magic’ came into the English language via French ‘magique’ in the 1600s, from Latin ‘magica’, from the ancient Greek and Persian root words, ‘magus’, plural ‘magi’. In English this also led to the word ‘magian’ first recorded in 1578, now obsolete and replaced loosely in meaning by ‘magician’, via French ‘magicien’, from the same ancient root word origins. The 1933 OED states that ‘magus’ (plural magi) refers to “Historical - A member of the ancient Persian priestly caste. Hence one skilled in Oriental magic and astrology, an ancient magician or sorcerer.” Also: “Speculatively - The three ‘wise men’ who came from the East bearing offerings to the infant Christ.”
There is a lot more I could write and talk about ‘magic’, and the energies of ‘magic’, that are now mostly forgotten, or dismissed by ‘modern science’, and which thrillingly, increasingly now are being rediscovered.
‘Thoughts become things’ (they really do), and our conscious statements of intent and belief, act as a ‘starter-motor’ for the subconscious to fuel and create our new realities, individually and collectively.
Try it when you feel ready, and be careful what you wish for.
For now perhaps simply enjoy the video, and wonder at how a house might turn itself into a pinhole camera, to project the sun and passing clouds onto my floor. It’s only happened this once that I’ve seen and shown in the video, and I imagine probably it won’t ever happen again, given the chances of the relationships aligning in the same way, between the Earth and the Sun, and the tiny hole that inverted the beam of sunlight from my roof window.

Yes, and it really is an image of the Sun, which is why it appears as a perfect, round disc (and also showing the clouds!). During a solar eclipse, as the moon passes across the face of the Sun, everywhere on the ground under trees, tiny spaces between the leaves create perfect images of the eclipsing Sun from the natural "pinhole camera" effect, and they show up under the tree's shaddow as circular discs of light with increasing "bites" taken out of the discs by the moon's passing across the Sun's face, turning the bright discs into identical crescents. Then as the eclipse ends and the sun "re-emerges", the thin crescents of the Sun's images on the ground get wider and wider until they once again are perfect circles.
Until I saw the perfect patterns on the ground during an eclipse, I never realized that the round spots of "dappled" sunlight under a tree were actually round images of the Sun itself and not just random shapes filtering through the branches/twigs/leaves!
