My Traumatic Growth: Being Defrauded By A Sporting Legend :)
A true story of strange convergences, and how we become fearless and strong; emotionally, physically and spiritually. Part 1.
This is the event I organised in 2018, jointly with the suicide bereavement charity founded by Michael Mansfield QC and his wife-to-be Yvette Greenway. Michael lost his daughter Anna to suicide a couple of weeks after my partner (2010-15) Liane Ashberry took her own life.
This was my first meeting with Willie Thorne, the famous snooker player…
Willie Thorne died before the criminal case was scheduled for court; sadly traumatic for his loved ones.
I was to be the main witness for the ‘Crown’ vs William Joseph Thorne. ‘Crown’ means here the British criminal prosecution. It wasn't a civil action on my part. It was a legal action brought by the UK Insolvency Agency.
Without going into lots of detail, because my initial statement was 28 pages, and the investigations and compilations of evidence took far more than a year, essentially Willie Thorne borrowed a lot of money from me and failed to repay me.
The experience very nearly killed me. Sadly Willie Thorne's past traumas in his life, of sporting brilliance and gambling addiction, ruined his health and shortened his life.
I'm the lucky one.
I'm grateful for my traumas, because they've enabled me to grow infinitely stronger than I could ever have imagined.
That said, societally and politically globally, humanity is now increasingly realising that the many cycles of generational traumas, combined with the development of unhealthy technologies, lifestyles, processed foods and drinks, must be addressed in a transformational redesign of how our world operates.
I'm doing my best to be and enable the changes that we all want in our pureborn hearts. Peace, love, harmony. Free energy. Love. It's infinite and inevitable. Please help me and us all to make it happen.
