The BOLT test (Body Oxygen Level Test) is very easy and quick to do for yourself.

Incidentally I’m 67 years old. My score in the BOLT test is typically 40 to 60 seconds, and is improving. Many elite athletes score only about 10 seconds, because they have never been taught how to breathe properly, so they breathe in and out through the mouth.
