Addictions aren’t just sugars, carbs, nicotine, gambling, etc. Addictions can be any destructive habit, including overwork and over-exercise, shopping and blaming ourselves for being less than perfect.
Mistakes, and grief are how we grow. Letting go of who we thought we were or thought we wanted to be (because perhaps our parents or teachers guided us away from our passions) can be scary, especially if we don’t get enough sleep.
Sleep regulates our moods and hunger, and heals our brains and bodies.
A healthy diet enables us to sleep properly.
Everything changes for the better when we heal ourselves.
